I'm just curious. How do you find where audio, video, 5 volts, etc points are. I mean how do you figure it out?

Also - tackle it with a multimeter. Buy a cheap one and learn how to use it. It's handy for finding connections between components, such as "ah, this is ground here and here" or "the signal goes to here"
