PSOnes aren't PSXs

I've noticed a lot of people calling PSOnes PSXs. They aren't PSXs.

That's a PSX. I hate when people call PSOnes or PlayStations PSXs.

Isnt that a DVD player of somesort?
This should be in the Playstation forum, as it has somewhat to do with it.

Yeah, I was about to post it there, but I thought that was just for mods and hacks.

Yes the ps1 is not a psx. But calling a ps1 a psx started long before the ps2 even came out.

Really? That annoys you? Members of my family call my gamecube "the purple box", my slim PS2 "the toy" and my DS "that red thing". Oh, and every part, EVERY part of my 64SS while on the table being assembled, is "the wire".

Any every Nintendo console I have is a "Nintendo."

I didn't know that not many people knew that

well anyway the PSX is like the Panasonic Q of the gamecube. It's a fancy dvd player and media center with a game console built in, and it was, just like the Q, a complete failure.

Oh my crap... that's the worst thing I've ever heard... even my stepfather isn't that bad... wow. He calls my PS2, Gamecube and, well, pretty much every console I have either "The Nitendo," (no, not "Nin", he says "Ni") or sometimes "The computer." Any every once in a while he'll actually call my computer a "Nitendo." Ugh. On a side note, he also thinks that everything I do on the computer is "Playin' on the computer." Just because the only thing he knows how to do on the computer is play Solitaire doesn't mean that's all it does...

whenever i have portable stuff on the counter they are called "get this crap off of the counter" lol they usually refer to everything as nintendo but its ok cause most the systems i play are nintendo. my dad is worse than my mom about it
