Someone flagged it and nobody knows why or who did it. It's just footage of Super Mario 64. Signing up is very easy, though. You don't even have to sign into your email for an activation link or anything. Once you sign up it brings you straight to the video... you don't even have to sign in either. Trust me, it's very, very worth it.

Is that the video of the guy who beat the game in 20 minutes?
PSp is about 70% done, just have to do the controller and case.

Yeah, but he's still doing it all himself... even though he had to rewind like... 200,000 times or something crazy like that.

What if someone replaced the internals of a 1st party controller with 3rd party stuff with this mod? Then it would not only feel better, but it would look awesome!

this issue is that the third party controllers like to use pots to designate the axis

While 1st party use photo-diodes

Building a converter would be hard, time consuming, and mabye even expensive

Non-optical computer mice use photo-diodes, don't they? So couldn't you make a trackball to replace the joystick?

don't track-balls also use photo diodes?

also thed n64 recieves data from an independent chip on the controller board,

The n64 recieves (4,6)
while a photo dieode may say something different htan a pot essentially it all translates to a coordinate grip and is used by the n64,

I don't know if you could create your own chip that works with Pots and performs just as well as a first party n64 controller, but the idea is completely impratical, besides they sell replacement joysticks anyway!

A lot of us here have seen that before, but I don't think anybody has tried them out yet.
