RGB from PSone LCD failed once, not failing again!

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

RGB from PSone LCD failed once, not failing again!

Post by riva16 »

Hi, i tried the RGB mod for my Psone to use in my portable PSX, but uhh, i accidently bridged wires and blew the LCD, ohh well, but I'm not even sure if the diagram i found for RGB onthe system was even right... I'm simply looking for a diagram of where the correct pins for RGB ont he Psone itself are... I got a diagram for the LCD pins, need Psone system pins... If anyone wants to see crappy pics of my portable, check out my portable section of my site...

Wait, doesn't the Psone use RGB by default if the LCD is connected directly to the Psone system via the AV Out? If it is, can't i just de-solder the AV Out, to make room in my portable, and use wire to each pin to get RGB? I like that better.

We had a snow day a few weeks ago. Because of a new state law the schools must make up all days used for weather. Before we used to get 5 before we had to extend school to make them up :(

Edit: oh yeah, this is a picture from a few weeks ago when I had the snow day. In it the snow is about 3-4 feet deep.

I believe I have 3. Not that my district ever uses them (haven't had a closure in years)
