Vaccum forming plexiglass?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

So, I hate such short posts, but lemme get to the point! Is plexiglass vaccum formable?

maybe, you would have to get it very hot to form it tho, over 300 degrees i think

Not really practical, you'd have to heat it up quite a lot, and draw one heck of a vacuum. Much easier to just heaat up one section and bend it.

I wonder if shorting 120vAC could give me the heat reaquired. >_> <_<
Or I could use my four soldering irons all around the metal tray!
