FIXED!! GCp Progress thread...Khaag's GCp BACK ON THE ROAD!

Post by khaag » Tue Apr 18, 2006 9:05 pm

Here it is. Another GCp attempt thread. I am gonna post all of my progress here and ask all questions here. So, here goes:

-Is the Zenith Gamecube screen a good screen to use for my GCp? I have heard it is the same as the PSOne screen but I'm not sure.

-How much power does the Gamecube use? I've seen different voltages in different threads so I want to be absolutely certain.

-Should I make a guide as I go along? I want to know if you guys could actually use it.

Thanks,
Kevin

Another thing I forgot to add: I read somewhere on these forums that somebody figured out a way to make the Gamecube CD drive slimmer. If anybody knows how, or knows where the thread is, please post here.

I'm not sure how many volts are on these but I have one here, and was wondering if 1 or more could be used to power my GCp? The desc. says it has 4300 mAh. Anybody have any ideas?

EDIT: Oops... I forgot the link: http://cgi.ebay.ca/New-Sony-PSP-4300-mA ... dZViewItem

since the psp batteries are 3.7v you would need 4 in series to power the gamecube.
I will always put 8) at the end of my posts

they are rather large for their amperage, and at 13 dollars a piece you would probably be better off ordering from batteryspace.com

I'll look at them... thanks

Edit: OK, I looked there, but I don't know exactly what I am looking for... I don't want Li-Polys, well, even though they are supposedly good, they are too much $$$$. So does anybody know of any batteries that will be good for the GCp and give OK battery life?

You might find what you need here. I've ordered from there several times, and the batteries are good quality.

How would you go about attaching leads to a camcorder battery? I don't want one to "slide-into-place". Is the inside of those batteries a "cell-pack" so to speak?
