Yay I think I finally got it figured out now.

No idea how to desolder the white thingy. But I'll play around with it. I finally have some idea on what to do. Thank you

I feel so proud, I just figured out what the 7805 is and what the three things are for. I read through like every post on this board and I'm figuring stuff out. Now my question is do I need the 7805 for anything? Like do I wire anything to it? I'm going to be using a Hip Gear Screen Pad so I'm wondering will I need to use the 7805 for it?

you might want to buy a TO-220 heatsink for the 7805 and attach that, or replace it with a LDO (low drop out) 7805 regulator so that it needs less voltage. as for the pins that remained, you can solder directly to them, but it will be stronger if you remove them and then solder the switch wires directly to the board, its just one less weak point.
