Cases for the poor/cheap
I was wondering what are some meathods for homemade cases that arent too pricey? can I just melt down like 100 plastic forks and spoons into a mold or is it more complicated then that?

And never show them the lithium battery explosion video or gamelver GCp after explosion...

Yes, G-force brings up a good point; if the original case is used, you KNOW everything will fit
! Oh, and speaking of the box method... one thing I forgot to say was a wood box. I just picked one up the other day from JoAnn Fabrics (they have them at Michaels too). The person I am building the new NESp with wanted a wood case. I was kinda skeptical, but now that I've seen them, I think they would look great stained/painted. Plus, they're super cheap.

Despite that, yours looks goodmarshallh wrote:When I built my first case-modded N64, it wasn't hard to make it look good. The N64 probably isn't the best one to case mod, though. It's almost impossible to get everything inside there.
On the other hand, the SNES would be a piece of cake to fit everything (screen, batteries etc) into.
