Gamecube A/V cord

I never got a an N64 A/V cord with both N64s I ordered

I did find a Gamecube A/V cord with my screen. What cords do you use to power it with the gamecube cords? Is powering the screen the same for N64 A/V.

What do you mean? It came with the intec gamecube screen.

ok are you asking if you power the n64 with the gamecube power or are you asking if you power the screen with it?

I know the N64 and gamecube screen work with the Gamecube A/V cord. I'm asking what cords do you put the power into for the Gamecube A/V cord to power the screen?

The a/v cord can't power the screen. You could use the n64 power supply for the 12V the screen needs though.

How do you power the gamecube screen. I was reading a guide and I thought it said to put the 7.5 volts into the cords on the A/V cords.

Nope, and plus, the gamecube lcd that I have won't work unless it has a good 12V dc line to it. It even had problems running well off of a 12V 3A battery, so I wouldn't suggest it's use in anything powered by batteries.

I was going to solder wires to the yellow cord that plugs into the gamecube screen. I was just going to use 5 AAs. This should work right?

judging by what gannon just said, no. 5 AAs would be 7.5 volts, just like you were told wouldn't work.
