Wow that really sucks, man... That's why I always use ni-mh in my porties. Hopefully you can crank out a new one with different batteries.

Hey, at least a house fire wasn't on the news tonight, or maybe even a special about how someone caught on fire because of batteries.

just don't overcharge them .....I had a smart charger, but I think the batteries were fully charged when they exploded...I was sure they weren't, but logic states that I was quite clearly wrong. also, these batteries hadn't been used in a while, and were kind of screwed up anyway (a few previous shorts). I'll make the new portable, er, new...and stuff :P. luckily, one of the battery packs didn't explode, and since I don't want to use that specific pack, because of what's already happened, I might try and purposely overcharge them outside or something. should be fun :P.

and yes, though it really sucked to see my GCp be completely ruined....but man those flames were HUGE. at least 4 feet high.

I'll get pics in a couple hours, since my brother's got the camera right now and is away.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I won't :P....

man, now I don't have any portables :( (that I made myself :P)....and the thought of making the GCp all over again sucks :(. new case....controller wiring....mobo wiring....back plate....screen wiring/LED mod.....and I want to work on my new portable, too!

damn it, why did this have to happen.....really, it couldn't have happened at a worse time, for various reasons :P.

oh well, that's life, I suppose....funny ol' thing, right :P?

At least you have a NeoPocket Famicom, right? Did your N64ps break? You could probably play those. What's your new portable? TELL ME!!

nope, you can't know :P....and my other N64ps are all broken except for my N64p4...which I had previously used for parts, so now it's taken apart :P.

I still have OTHER game systems...but nothing original :(. and now I can't play GC.

oh, and my memory cards are toast, too. literally. well, looks like I'm replaying all my favorite games...AGAIN!

well, the charger WAS connected to the wall outlet, via the GC ac adapter, and though that may seem to have no effect on my exploding GCp...um, well, it did.....so technically, I should be given, um, $600 for a new one!
