My GCp just exploded, while charging. Completely ruined. Fire alarm on, smoke everywhere (windows open in my room now). No GCp anymore. Half of it is literally just gone, blown away. Room almost caught on fire, and while throwing it outside, it had another mini explosion, right in my hands (covered by my bedsheet).
Ok, I'll just run off and be miserable now, even more so than usual. I'll post up pics later if you guys want to see it.

Without games my life would have no meaning.

HOLY crap!
I feel your pain, man. At least the house didn't catch fire and everyone's still alive.
Portables can be replaced. Human lives cannot.
I think it was the Li-Polys. My neighbor had something similar happen in his garage (he's into model aviation, flying model RC airplanes). I think either they overheated or the batteryu got cut somehow and it overheated and exploded.

no one was in the house, so there was no danger, except to me, and I would've been fine anyway, since I quickly doused the flaming GCp in water.....
and yes, it was from the li-polys. only the smaller pack, but it was still a huge explosion. it probably exploded from overcharging it. I thought it was discharged but I guess I was wrong. well, time to start working on a new one, then....for the third time.
here's a pretty accurate video of how it was....only my GCp was caught in the middle of this, and the fire lasted longer: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &q=battery

Well, it won't be me Mine is kinda stuck in the case it's in right now. Don't even ask howFanboy wrote:And on this day, the world weeps in faith of Gamey's GCp ... That is the u171m473 un1337 5ux0r5 y0 ... Oh well, there is only one good thing to come of this sad occasion, the oppurtunity to build the greatest (greater than your first 2 ) GCp, EVER!
