You know, someone as skilled as ben shouldn't have to much trouble working with Lithium-Ion cells. With three times the energy density of Ni-HM and Ni-Cd batteries, an Xboxp wouldn't become quite so difficult to power for a reasonable period of time.
For instance, a AA sized Li-Ion battery cell will give you about 7.2 watt-hours of power. If you wanted to run, say, a 136 watt Xbox360 (was that the power draw? Don't remember) for one hour, you'd only need...19 AA size cells.....Ok, that's a lot, but at least its less than 46
