Woah... it feels weird posting here for the first time in 10 Weeks, but yes, the Unidentified Assilant.... is back... for now lol only joking i'll be here a bit longer.
Anyway, does anyone here play in a band, because I'm getting myself a BC Rich Guitar sometime soon, and i'm in a heavy metal band that hasn't came up with a name yet, I've decided on Protect The Innocent if I get to choose the name lol. I can already play guitar lol and I can even play Jimi Hendrix, which of course makes me proud of myself

for the love of god, please i beg you do not get a BC Rich guitar. PLEASE
i understand you want to play metal, but Bc Rich is not the only way!!
those guitars may look really crazy and radical, but their tone and sustain are not worth the image value.
if you want thick powerful distortion and rich creamy tone, i highly reccomend a Stratocaster with a Big Muff distortion petal. You will be able to get many more tones than just generic metal which will go along way in the next coming years.
but i strongly suggest anything but a BC Rich guitar, as an educated musician.
also stay away from Crete and Peavy amps, not worth it. Get a fender or Marshall.
and yes i am in a band. but ill cover that in my next post
i repeat do not get a BC Rich.
edit: you mentioned you play Jimi Hendrix, Jimi had a strat. You can do a lot of things with that guitar, all with the right pedals and amps trust me.

The majority of my friends/aquaintences play instruments, I don't.

Im in a band with my semi friend. Hes at another school so its kind of hard. I beatbox (cause I cant sing for crap), and play his guitar somewhat, because I havent got the green to buy my own. We're called Fat Adam and the Westside boys. Its kind of rap/ rock. Sometimes he and another kid sings, and sometimes I rap. Weve made four songs.
Me and my other friend are starting a christian rap band called Biblica. Its basically a joke, cause were all kinda atheists.

Finally, another BC Rich not-liker! Really though, BC Riches might have all the fancy words about the BDSM Pickups, and killer sustain, but they sound like sh*t. They seriously suck. Bad. You can get a much better guitar for the same price, or go over the $700 range and buy a Steinberger (like me!) and get an even better guitar.Reploid Ayla wrote:for the love of god, please i beg you do not get a BC Rich guitar.
