So long as the battery you're using is 7.2v or higher, yes.

yeah, guys, next time you feel an urge to check a schematic, can you at least make strait lines (its the little line thingy in paint) instead of just freehanding it?

yeah thats why paint has the box and rounded box commands, so people don't have to free hand very shakey diagrams.
