Found this on digg, now its a 50 greatest independent films list. Squee! should be pleased that Donnie Darko is #2.

I'm going to bookmark the site and see about checking out some of the movies on the list.

It was a great movie, but it was also one of those movies that even though they were good, I never want to see it again. Pretty low replay value.

But I really liked the idea of the main character going back in time to kill himself. so much so that I tried pitching that as an idea for Back to the Future 4, but for some reason it wasn't as well received.

It's like terminator, only backwards.

It's a movie, rated "R" for lots of use of the F-word, and a demonic bunny.

That's the English Teacher. You picked "Cellardoor" as your favorite word, didn't you.

This is one of the movies my movie-manic friends just LOVE. (like Jones) That and Big Lebowski. Of course I've seen neither.

What's so great about Darko? Is it one of those Napoleon Dynamite things?

No, its kind of indescribable.

And I know who she is, I've seen the movie ~2.3 times. I picked alone, science, and portal as my favorite words.

have you been properly monitoring your body temperature? perhaps fever has left you delirious... I guess for a laugh you could tell your guidance counselor that you obsessively watch movies about high school suicide.

Though I shouldn’t talk, I’ve seen RHPS a good couple hundred times...
