While loads of people say that the PSP is better, they only say that cos they're the ones that follow the crowd and are blind to see nintendos wicked design but the thing is they're releasing it in Japan (What about Europe, Endland,USA?, are we less important?, OR BIG N may be developing a better browser for us,hopefully).

PSP will become infamous for their UMD discs as they will get scratched easily and need to be replaced costing more money. First I saw the DS Linux on this cool site http://dslinux.org/ and now this browser will enhance the gaming world forever. Nintendo has been in the game for 20 years whereas Sony's Playstation has been here for not very.

Of course I have a playstation 2 but it doesn't beat my gamecube. PS games are definetly not as good as LOZ:WW or any other zelda games.

I rest my case. :P
....okay...well, apparently you are a follower as well to throw down the PSP. First, the UMD discs. They are designed with a clear case around it to keep it safe from scratches and other stuff. I've dropped my umd's a few times, but it's still perfect because of the cover on the disc.

Also, the PSP opens many doors to homebrew applications that can simply be saved on a memory stick. You can listen to MP3's, save a movie on the stick (I have a 1GB stick and I keep minimum 2 movies on it), you can play emulators, have a photo album, wi-fi internet, stream music from your home PC to your psp, etc. etc. etc. Even though Nintendo has been in the business for a long time, Sony blew the market away in a short time by opening the doors not just to the younger community, but to everyone all around. Nintendo is more aimed at the younger crowed as opposed to Sony, they hit all ages better than Nintendo.

DS does have a unique design that has attracted me as well, from the dual screens and the touch pad on the bottom, the backward compatibility, the backlight that works better then the GBASP, the wide design for many size hands. Right now, I chose against the DS due to it's weak game list. Personally, I haven't seen too many good games, yet, although, the few I do like I can easily borrow from my brother. Metroid Pinball is my favorite DS game at the moment and Bomberman as well. Other than those two, it's not strong enough for me to purchase one.

The PSP offers more options for my liking at the moment so I chose that instead. Yes, it does have a high price tag and not too many people can afford it like I can, still, it serves my needs. Besides...I can play LOZ on my PSP too :P

On topic: As for the browser feature, this definitely sounds great for the DS community, however, Opera will definitely have a challenge mainly because of the RAM. Only so much can be seen on the DS before the system cannot load anything else. Unless the add a RAM expansion pack that'll go into the GBA slot, this may not work out too well. The good thing I like about this though is the touch pad. The DS will have an easier time with the mouse option as opposed to the psp, you have to use the analog stick.

It should also be noted that Japanese TV broadcasts are based on the NTSC standard. It's because the US helped Japan rebuild after World War II.

AFAIK the Japanese NTSC signal is very similar to North American NTSC, the only difference being a slight color shift.

I do hope Nintendo realizes the potential market for a DS web browser in the US. I'm already sore for them not releasing the Play-Yan over here.

I never liked GTA to begin with...it's very repetative and way overhyped, I'll gladly give you that! But it's not about the games, it's about the expansion capabilities of the system. Of course the company designed it for a specific purpose, however, the PSP has been turned into something greater then what it was originally. Besides...DS doesn't have Burnout Legends (best racing game ever), Untold Legends, Coded Arms, Medievil, Death Jr. These games are very good, and I tend to be picky a lot when it comes to gaming lately.

Sure, you have LOZ, but, how many versions can you have of Link to the Past before it becomes ridiculous?

COMING SOON: A game like you never seen before... "Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past: Gannon Gets Really MAD!", and the hit sequal "LOZ:Link to the Past: Link Really in the Past!". The sequal contains yet, another dungeon and is an exclusive to the GBA title. However, if you put it into your DS, you'll unlock the ultimate feature...a new dungeon with the ultimate quest item: a flute that'll take you to the greatest dungeon ever built that'll contain the best item link can ever have...a flute autographed by all the members of nintendo saying "thank you" AGAIN for playing, because only YOU will be the ultimate zelda fan and no one else!!!

I love LOZ, but it becomes repetitive a lot...same with mario. Yes, the PSP becomes boring at times too, but everything in life is like that. Just have fun with what you have, don't let anyone tell you what's better...only you can. This message has been brought to you by the bheck wildlife preserve foundation!!!

Hmmm, the web browser is gonna be amzing, it will be, nevertheless, I've had experience with Opera software before, it is very versatile...so this'll be a cool feature all in all, and touch screen will be awesome. However, the screens may not handle all sites, and the touchpad can be a touch mouse, but no a fully featured one...however.

Portable web browsers are cool for sure, but they scare me. It gives somebody the ability to look at whatever they want, wherever they want... Hence, scary.

And it's not like they are practical, you can't type efficiently, you can't view as good as a monitor, online games are out, whats left? webcomics and news sites are the only things that come to mind.
