Used to play it a lot. Then the rules changed and I played it less. Then it got too expensive to build a decent army.

There's a club at my school for it, and I used to play, but then I sold a lot of my stuff. Now, it's insane how much the stuff costs.

Exactly. For the best wargamming and RPGing, I prefer to make my own rules with friends and use those. We usually use legos. Legos are awesome.

I once made a game like it, and like mechwarrior..........the game i made was very cool! I had made 21 Game boards...all like 3 feet by 4 feet cardboard sheets  I made charecters based of Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony and many other cool TV shows, movies, and anything you could imagine! Each charecter "Chip (sized a little bigger than a poker chip, some as big as a plate.... They were super powerfull people)" I featured levels like Palett Town from Pokemon, Kokori Forest from Zelda...and many more.....even made up levels......It was a sweet game!!! I made like 50 bucks of of it   I was then stopped by my friends cause they tried b4 me to make games and i took away their buisness!... So, yeah...........It was kinda like Dungeons and Dragons or something like that...........My game kicked ass :D

Same here. I usualy use the system reaperman mentioned, Mike Rayhawk's
Brikwars along with various house rules thrown in.

UK joke:

Two Geordies doing role play. One Geordie asks "Is this Warhammer?"
The other Geordie says "Nah, It's their's"
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.

I just went to a games workshop last week. It seems they've lowered their prices about 25 bucks for the main set. But I'm still not gonna play it(I'm still poor)because I too have made my own.
I am awesome...No, I am not conceited, just extremely honest
