Why it looks like they're coping the design style of Apple. Really Ben make it perfectly clear in his VCSp rev.6 vs. GBA SP comparison: Changes looks more then Micheal Jackson. A new DS after just a year? What consumber is going to do that?

I can understand if it's something like the GBA SP NES one, that was just hands down the coolest looking GBA ever. I just don't think there is a need to have a different look to Nintendo's portables every year.

If they were to make it looks like a SNES or an N64. Yeah I'd likely be tempted to get my own. That's just not the case here though.

I was thinking about buying one then heard the rumors of a redesign. I really want one of those backlit GBA:SPs, but can't justify buying one when I already have two (nes classic and regular). Now I can just buy the redesigned DS and get a couple launch games really cheap.

Looking at the point that the three consoles have VERY similar designs now, d'you think Nin's planning some interesting connectivity for the Rev DS and Micro?

Hmmmm, I don't like it.
1) Something about it just looks too bland.
2) That's some retarded mic placement.
3) I just bought the other one. :x
EDIT: 4) Weren't Start and select far enough out of reach in the first place?

At least you don't feel forced to buy the newer one. There isn't some major new feature like the GBA SP's backlight.

Well, if there are no compatibility issues, I might wait and see if the old one, which would be just as good, will drop in price at all.

I bable-fished the page and as fare as I can see there is absoloutly no change other than a 4 setting dimmer switch and new ipod-esque looks.

So no web browser or increased backwards compatibilty nothig shesh, talk about useless features, the gba sp at least was useful enough to consider upgrading to and the micro realy wasnt that bad containing the best feature of the sp (lit screen rechargible battery) and trimming away compatibility to make a small console which has its own merits..... but this! You could propably ad your own dimmer control to the thing for gravy's sake!

EDIT: Nintendo GIVE US THE GBE! NO MORE REDESIGNS!
