You can be like Cennar, who makes a portable SNES for the sole purpose of playing Gameboy games.psychotic_mechanic wrote:super Gameboy

I don't care what anyone says, that was sheer genious.
Yeah, you're right. It's just really hard waiting for it to get done! I liked how you did that with your GCp, it was like *BAM* a GCp materialized out of nowhere!Turbo Tax 1.0 wrote:i kinda think its better when its a surprise, if you show us pics now then it wont be as exciting to see the finished thing. just my opinion

AOAC is that and atari on a chip?
what product and what are the rom pinouts for a cartrige port?
one more thing to add on
I figure that a N64 and SNES would be tight in a case but i would do a lot of measuring and stuff before i started. come up with a very concise measurement and figure out if it is a go or a no.
but mainly i thought about this so i would not have to buy 5-6 screens for my portable projects therby lowering cot...somewhat
I'm also interested in collecting older systems like the sega saturn and a full Genesis with 32x,and CD attachments... was not thinking of making those portable just yet... especially the saturn...
but all in all i was thinking of having as many "OAC" systems as possible with mabye a larger one (such as the SNES or the N64) to round out the possibilities
i guess thinking that a SNEs and a N64 in one case would be the biggest problem...

I was thinking of the same thing for TGSp, except I want to have a Turbografx, Genesis and SNES in the same case. Its going to be big, but using the schematics I have found it should be possible to make use of every centermeter of the case. Nothing like having the 16bit consoles in one case.

I think what would be super cool and crazier would be to make portables with a detachable screen (i think this was talked about somewhere). That way you could have all these portables and take the screen and detach or attach to w/e you want.
