Gotta see this movie!!

Post by gannon » Wed Oct 20, 2004 4:47 pm

I'm surprised I just found out about this movie, especially since info on it has been out since around 2001 when the author died. I'm talking about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy do out in 2005!!!
Since Douglas Adams wrote the screenplay I'm thinking it's going to be really good :)

Oh yeah, and for those who like fantasy films The Last Unicorn is do to be released next year too :)

The Last Unicorn!?!?!?!?!? I remember watching that movie as a kid. It had a nice soundtrack.....
I wonder what the new movie about it will be like....
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

The last unicorn was released on dvd March of this year. The German dvd release is a lot better though. Also, the animated movie of it was made by what is now called studio ghibli.

Also, here is the movie's webpage.

Edit:
It seems like the release date for the last unicorn is pushed back until 2006 :(

I like this explnation of it :)

Code: Select all

#include <stdio.h>

#define SIX    1 + 5
#define NINE   8 + 1

int main(void)
{
    printf( "What you get if you multiply six by nine: %d\n", SIX * NINE );
    return 0;
}

Yeah, it's a kinda old thread and all. I just wanted to be the first to report about it, since I just saw it. Going on the net and talking with others, it seems like you either love it or hate it. I went to it with a friend, and we both loved it! It was cool, funny, and interesting in one awesome movie. 4/5 stars, IMO.
