lol ps2 emulators. the gp2x has about the same gfx capabilities as the PSP but less 3D ability, we dont know the best it can do seeing as how it only shipped to korea 4 days ago, for the money the gp2x is the best for its price range. if you wait till after cristmas all the aearly release bugs (ZERO hardware problems BTW, just buggy beta firmware, easy to fix) any more questions feel free to ask, me and samfisher are the local experts

Depends on your view of 'popular', will it have commercials and signs in store windows? No. Will every geeks be straining to get one? Yeah, probably.

You should get it, cause there arent all that many good emulators.

I want to end up getting one...I've been saving up for one for a while now. How much are they in the US, $180? If so, then I just need 10 more bucks :P

I would really like to get one but unless it can browse the internet and will link to my PC I will probably get a Tapwave Zodiac, when they get cheap on ebay. But if you are into emulation and classic games get one I bet it will be sweet especially if a lot of PC games are ported to it. If Virtual Fighter 2 or Battle Arena Toshinden (for PC) got ported then it would be an awesome console :)

Eh... I don't think it's worth it. I'd rather have a PSP, since it has a rechargeable battery and commercial games.

http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?showtopic=22017 good news to spite the fear mongerers on gp32x, and conn, i could care less about commercial games and imo the psp rechargable is a fault not a favorable thing, the gp2x can run on rechargable AAs and even on the current crap formware get 6+ hours on 2500mah NiMhs

The emulated games were commercial 10 years ago :)
