yet another reason PSP sucks nuts for homebrew/emulation, sony HATES YOU! they dont want you, their customer, to do cool things with their handheld, they shovle out crap for you to eat and like it! they add all this crap to each revision so people wont get pissed off that sony is taking away from them

That seems like the top shelf one. You can get a Supercard-Sd or -CF with passme for 100, then 1GB SD card for like 60 or whatever. With that, you can play a few systems.
If you dont want to go that route, then get a GP2x, its opensource, and has 64mb built in memory, with an SD slot. So for 200 dollars you can get a little of everything 32-bit and below, for an additional 60 dollars, you can get a lot more 32-bit and below stuff in one sitting.
