wooden enclosure?

i was thinking about building something similar to a yoshi box ( all in one game console) would it be ok to use wood to build a case for it?

I don't see why it would hurt anything. Plus you'll be able to manipulate it more easily to acommodate your systems.

yeah it would work fine but i would use high quality mdf wood to build becuase unlike regulaur wood it does not have nots in it and it doesnt have grain marks really i dont know if its called mdf it might be called pressure board.

Your talking about Medium Desidy Fiber board. You can use that stuff, its smooth and all but make sure you dont mess up with that stuff I've used 1/4" and it gets crappy around the edges after a while. I'd suggest using 1/8" ply wood. the stuff is rather ridged and will take more abuse to destroy then solid wood.
