Why does Ron Paul always seem to have a ton of supporters but never wins anything?

Cause like I said, the elections are rigged lol.
As Stalin once said...."it's not he who votes that counts, it's who counts the votes" (or something like that).

Yeah, the elections are rigged, and that's why Ron Paul's gotten nowhere.

Not without getting political, and btw, I'd suggest you quit pushing your opinion about Ron Paul unless you want this thread to get locked.

Fun fact - freedom of speech does not apply to a privately owned website.

I agree with themadhacker, let's keep things civil so I don't have to come in and closerize this.

Why doesn't the USA split in two countries:
Image
There should be some red and blue city state "islands" in both, for example Austin Texas as progressive island.
Then one country can vote forever on the Romneys and Bushes, build boeings, Invade Iran, and sell guns.
The other country can vote forever on the Obama's and Clintons and rule the internet, build cars, rule the creative industry and make wine.

I always choose "(D) None of the above." In my 14 years of being able to vote, I have decided that literally no one is good enough to be in office. They either bow to their respective parties ignoring their outrageous promises they made campaigning, or get stonewalled by the opposition so they can't get any work done. It doesn't matter who you voted for, the electoral college has the power to elect and your vote pretty much amounts to those one-hit enemies in Mega Man. Quickly defeated without second thought or repose.

While some work has been done over the past few decades I've seen, all the freaking bellyaching by the party who lost becomes the most pathetic crap I ever get to hear. "Freaking So and So became president and the country went to hell! Wouldn't have happened if Blah Blah made it in! Impeach/Recall So and So for their failures!" Mark my words, You will hear these words over and over again from political pundits, journalists, and congressmen. This is the way it goes and will not end until we stop being a democracy (or whatever it actually is nowadays).

Long story short; I'm not getting my fingerprints on that train wreck. This discussion isn't going to turn out well.
