I personally think the new design is Kick @$$. I hope to some day build one very similar. I only wish he would sell a kit so we could make one just like it.
Best PSP design ever.

This new PSP is alright, but the original just looked so much cooler in my opinion. But then again, it's functionality that matters.

I like this one a lot. The colors can have a change, but the design is great for hand built. I wanted to make one with the same design, but was just not good at case making. The older version does look nicer, but I would sacrifice that for the look of the new one, simply because the screen is twice as big. I am a fan of portables, but there is a "too small" for some systems, well, the screen anyways.

As for this quote
Ben wrote:"This unit was built by hand, with no CNC cutting machinery used at all! It's yet another portable for my "Project 42" - the purpose of which I hope to explain soon. (Hint: It's for the good of mankind)"
I hope the "purpose" was a step by step guide on how he created the case; dimensions, tools, the works. Although, I shouldn't hold my breath on something like that.

yah, I just read a topic about him making a book on how to make them. If it is a reasonable price, I will surely buy it.
