Power Adaptor - VA?

Post by Haunted360 » Wed Nov 09, 2011 10:15 pm

Hi. I have a 12 volt power adaptor that takes 230 (240) VAC and drops it to 12 volts DC.

Thing is, it states it can provide only 10 VA.

How do I convert Voltage Amps into Milliamps?

In your situation, its watts. So divide out the 12v and you get a bit under an amp, which is a bit under 1000 milliamps.
