Games that are ACTUALLY good

Post by Kurt_ » Mon Apr 25, 2011 11:08 am

There's a ton of crap in the gaming industry today. I want you guys to name some games for me that meet my criteria. I'm looking for a game, like zelda or metroid prime, that is 3D. The game should be non-linear, or at least as non-linear as ocarina of time was. It should be hard, but not hard in the sense that you know exactly what to do but are unable to do it until you repeat the same action / series of actions ten times, hard in the sense that the enemies are tough, or there are puzzles that take a bit of thinking.

And I don't really have any money to buy ANYTHING, so it's got to be pirated.

Name some favourites!

P.S. - I got this when I clicked login on my first attempt with all fields autocompleted for me: "You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to enter the confirm code from the image you see below."
Hey, sup?

Psychonauts and Brutal Legend was fun. Not very non-linear though...

These may all be shooters, but I'd suggest Borderlands, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. They're non-linear, fairly challanging, and are very fun to play. All of them also take a while to complete, so no need to worry about finishing too quickly. There's also DLC for each game so once you complete them there's even more :D

Fight MS Paint abominations! If you don't have a camera, go here, and pick something 3 megapixels or higher.
