I found a copy of Steel Battalion. And the monstrous controller.

I also found some other XBox titles, and a few NGage games for lulz.

At a Value Village thrift store, I found a mint condition copy of Stuart Little for PS for $1, a mint condition copy of GTA2 for PS for $4, a copy of Driver for PS for $4, a mint condition of WWF: War Zone for PS for $3, a Game Gear for $8, a miniature SNES for $20, Ecco the Dolphin for Game Gear for $5, a Game Boy Pocket for $8, an early-90's Toshiba Satellite laptop with a monochrome screen for $10, and a really nice portable LCD screen with composite and mono sound input and a built-in speaker that ran on either batteries or DC power for $15.

I don't have much luck with garage sales, but I found an Atari 2600 joystick and a beautiful set of paddles together for $3.
Finally: the surface!

Got this weird Apple thing today from Goodwill; not exactly sure what it is but it says Apple Airport Base Station on the back. I guess it's a router? It looked cool so I bought it for $3.99. Controllers were $2.99 each. In other news, a Savers opened up in my area yesterday. Missed the grand opening but had some time to check it out today, and I found Resident Evil 3 amidst some sports games. Passed on 5 bare PS1 systems at $7.99 each; one was a 9000 series though so I might go back and pick it up to chop it apart. Other ones were 5000, 5500 (or somewhere in between there), and 2 7000's.

Overall a nice store, really bright & spacious, nice and organized and clean also but this being their second day of operation I don't expect that to continue. ;)

Picked up 7 Playstation games and 2 PC games for $3 total. Guy just wanted 'em gone.

I also recently found a Miracle piano. It's the same one that came out for NES, but the hookups and documentation are for Mac. Not sure what to do with it - I thought it was the NES one when I purchased. Oh well.

Yeah I think they are all the same except for the different connecter cables for each interface. Spare cables are kind of pricey on eBay (~$30) but given the nature of this site you can always build your own. ;)

I walked into a thrift shop yesterday and a guy had finished swapping out a laptop HD. He asked if I wanted it or else he was going to chuck it. I grabbed it and luckily enough it was a SATA 320 gig 5400 rpm which is precisely what need for my PS3! However, connecting it to my computer, I heard it spin up, but I cant get my PC to recognize it!
