I don't know. I suppose it fell out of his backpack or something and didn't notice until a while later when he found it bent and with a smashed LCD.

I know of someone who's 3rd Gen iPod Nano that went through a Washing Machine. But if that was enough, after the washing machine. The iPod then got pwned by the dryer and pwned the dryer at the same time.

The iPod somehow made it's way into the dryer with out the person knowing after it when through the washing machine without knowing either. And got jammed in the dryer drum. There by stopping the drum for spinning. And at the same time it destroyed the iPod. And when it was removed, it came out in pieces. The Dryer was ok though, but if I remember right. It did cause the dryer to smoke when the Drum got jammed by the iPod

Today I talked with the kid I got the ipod from, and he said it wasn't run over by a car, but an SUV!

Oh, and my friend and I decided that after I fix the ipod I will sell it back to him for 40 dollars more than I paid for it.

I bought a relatively inexpensive Sega Genesis mark 3 system yesterday. That's the one that's rather difficult to find...

That is prolly me. I had an iPod that got run through the wash, still worked for the most part, then through an exceedingly long series of events, got on a beach about 30 yards from the water. Then an Earth Mover used to combat erosion on the beachfront by scraping sand from nearby beaches and bringing it to our thin one ran over it, and covered it in 3 feet of sand. I know it sounds far fetched, but it is 100% true. So yeah, @themadhacker: My ipod got run over by a bigger car than yours.

Here is a pic of one of the machines, not the exact one, but the same model:

The best deal I think I've ever found, £10 for a G3 tray loading imac.

333Mhz
160Mb ram
6Gb Harddisk
OS 9.22 (I think) Which will soon be jaguar!

It's something fun, I'll have it proudly on my desk with all the other crap I own.

Dual-boot OS 9 and Jaguar on that. Classic Mac OS screams on any Mac it can run on, and 9 will use USB thumb drives and stuff like that. There's even an old build of Mozilla for it, or maybe Opera or iCab, if you want a web browser that's newer than IE 5. (I've used iCab on my old Power Mac 7600 running System 7.6.1 before, and it was plenty usable even on that old 133mhz 604e. It just obviously couldn't do YouTube.)

You can find the version it's running by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About this Macintosh". Like you said, it should have 9.2.2. The oldest version it could have is 8.6.
