I scored a Motorola Bluetooth headset with a charger, a tablet with no stylus, and a PlayStation CD binder for a grand total of $10.25!

$4 dollars
the Atari is stamped "Not for sale for promotional use only" S.N. 8444. I think that's the assembly line number, so it's one of the first 10,000?
Atari classified my console as "Ultra-Rare" $4=$200 starting auction

But still very nice, Motorola for some reason extremely overcharges for their Bluetooth headsets.

That's all they make money on, really. They keep buying up companies with failure products, and making products that are 4 years behind everyone else. (They're just now developing 802.11n capable routers. ) Plus, the cell phone division is hemmoraging money. And, just like Chrysler and GM, the upper management isn't making the necessary changes to fix the problems.Jongamer wrote:Motorola for some reason extremely overcharges for their Bluetooth headsets.
The biggest money maker they had was the microchip division, which they spun off into its own company, Freescale Semiconductor. (And they made the tough choices and turned the company around.)

Today was City Wide Yard Sale. We have 2 City Wide Yard Sales each year. Which means, plenty of chances to get deals. Unfortunately there was't as many yardsales due to yesterdays weather.
Anyways, todays scores:
A Gateway Select running Windows 98 SE. Came with all the Disks and Books. And also came with Stock Keyboard and Mouse. I might make it into a Linux Machine. FREE
2 Gateway CRT's, I know not really worth it. Free
2.5 Speaker System. Free
PC Mic, Free
PT Cruiser ZipZap. The car it's self ended up not working $.75
Trackball Mouse, $.50

Oh man! If you'd ever part with that PT Cruiser ZipZap body, lemme know. I've been wanting one for quite a while.

I'm going to see if I can fix the ZipZap first. If I can't, I'll think about it and let you know.Tibia wrote:Oh man! If you'd ever part with that PT Cruiser ZipZap body, lemme know. I've been wanting one for quite a while.

Would you consider a trade? I have a few of the X-Men 2 Mazda bodies. I can't remember if I have the chrome or the original blue, but I could take a look.

Well I kinda want this car to work first. And even them I'm not sure I would trade after getting the car to work.Tibia wrote:Would you consider a trade? I have a few of the X-Men 2 Mazda bodies. I can't remember if I have the chrome or the original blue, but I could take a look.

I scored a box of 15 or so older (for the most part) PC games, including "Quake III Gold," "Doom 3," "Sim City 3000," "Traitor's Gate," and "Test Drive," for $10! Not a bad find considering it was about 3:30 PM when I got there.

Good games. SC3 is one of my most played games, according ot my xfire peofile, and it probably comes in second, only to AoE2, counting all of the times that I played without xfire.Twilight Wolf wrote:I scored a box of 15 or so older (for the most part) PC games, including "Quake III Gold," "Doom 3," "Sim City 3000," "Traitor's Gate," and "Test Drive," for $10!
