I just thought I'd take a minute to stop by Forum42 and tell you guys about a website I Co-Founded a little over a year ago.
Hopefully most of you like what you see and start using it!
Basically it is a Google powered search engine with a catch. The catch is that every time anyone enters a valid search query a penny is donated to the chosen charity (usually the charity changes every month). Something I find amazing about Vezue is that it literally allows anyone to contribute to charities no matter what financial situation they are in and in fact, without ever having to take even a dollar out of their pocket. It also takes away the age limit of people who are able to donate to charities because Vezue does not ask for cash and checks. Just asks internet users to start using it as their default search engine. I often find myself thinking that if a kid in elementary school starts using Vezue as opposed to directly using Google itself, he can literally take credit for donating thousands of dollars to charity by the time he is in high school!
We've already got visits from over 80 countries worldwide, and every continent besides Antarctica! Also we are currently looking to hire experienced website programmers and developers, so feel free to respond to this topic or send me an email at jauerbach@vezue.com if you are interested.
So if you've read this far you might as well take a second to visit http://www.Vezue.com and check it out!
Make sure you look at the "about us" page to really get a better understanding of the purpose and goals of the website.
Please help me spread the word if you think it's a good idea =)

If I had to specify an additional personal reason to lock this thread, it would be because you used Comic Sans in designing your website.Rules 6.0 wrote:2. No advertising or blogging. Following spamming, advertising your own site or forum is one of the most useless and obnoxious acts existent. If you are to do any advertising, it will reside in your signature, nowhere else. Too clear ideas up, the word blogging is derived from the digital web log (blog) and is defined as the act of creating topics that no one can discuss. Please do not post threads of your day at school, what you found under the sofa, or how you scraped your knee skateboarding.
