Merry Christmas to everybody else.

So far, the best things that I've got are gift cards for Micro Center and Target and a $10 bill. I also got an acceptance letter from Wayne State on Christmas Eve, which I was very happy with (and not quite expecting), because of my fairly dismal GPA. I guess my marginally high ACT score of 25 made up; now I don't even have to retake it.

A lovely lambskin rug which I'm now using as a blanket. Much too nice to go on the floor.

8 gig MicroSDHC card, pack of DVD+RW discs, Lenovo ThinkPad x100e with AMD L625 and Radeon 3200 (I'm paying for most of it). Money from assorted relatives is going toward a 4 gig RAM upgrade and maybe a 7200 RPM hard drive. Once I get the RAM upgrade (and don't have to rely on 1 gig ReadyBoost) I'll put up a couple benchmark videos.
