Hey guys, I haven't posted here in a while! I dug out my old computer becaue my netbook took a crap on me I actually miss this place a lot, it was my favorite website to go to. But anyways, which portable have you guys liked the most over the years?
I think my favorite one was when G-force put a NES clone in an original Gameboy. It would have to be between that and when Ben made his sick NES micro. Both slick as hell.
Whats your favorite portable?

dream cast, I would totally apreciate the first time I saw a decent stab at a vacuum formed DC with a good dc-dc converter and serious drive placement... what who made the thing, I can't recall.... though it was the first one made that's to be sure of.

I think dkap had the first finished portable dc, at least the first that I remember. I know other people were working on them long before, poppe comes to mind, his was going to look like a giant dreamcast controller but I dont think he ever finished it.cennar wrote:dream cast, I would totally apreciate the first time I saw a decent stab at a vacuum formed DC with a good dc-dc converter and serious drive placement... what who made the thing, I can't recall.... though it was the first one made that's to be sure of.
It's a shame with what went down with dkap. Nothing about it really makes sense to me.

I think it was Gamelver's Gamecube that got me sucked in, or maybe Marshall's first Nintendo 64.
By the way, who's still footing the bill for portables of doom?

Why bother even keeping the POD site? Its cool, but couldn't it just be tacked onto the BH forums server if its wanted for the nostalgia?
Cheers,
