The Orange Box is only $7.50 today, so grab it if you don't have it (like me until 5 minutes ago).

what are the odds that you can play L4D2 with mac users if your on a PC?

As long as the Mac in question can run L4D2, it can play with both other Macs and Windows PCs.

Same deal with all the other Source engine multiplayer games that have Mac ports.
