If I could travel into the past?

Egotistical Version:
1. Ensure that I can quickly travel forwards in time as well
2. Travel to the points in time when several big-name companies first came to being, and invest large sums of money.
3. Travel into the far future, purchase immortality, and a few other nifty gizmos with the invested money.
4. Travel BACK to the past and place myself as the supreme, immortal ruler of Everything.

Game-related version:
Well, I would tell Sega very specifically what it would need to do to allow the Saturn to conquer the PSone. For instance, have a more powerful rendering engine, be capable of rendering more polygons per second then the PSone, have a cartridge for backward compatability with Genisis and 32x. Finally, I would tell the heads of Sega that releasing the Saturn 4 months before the scheduled date- WITHOUT telling the 3rd party producers of its games OR the Gamers Themselves- is a sheerly retarded thing to do.

Yes, current quantum theories suggest that there are infinite alternate time-lines, and altering the past would simply lead to the creation of one such alternate time line. Then again, would it really matter? I mean, our time line is just as real as alternate time lines, and to the perspective of an alternate time line, OURS is the pseudo-real alternate time line. I would not be to concerned about living a different history, so long as I am rich and powerful.

I would invest $10 in Coca-Cola when they started the company and buy 200 shares, travel back to the present, and cash in at $40,000 each, for a total of $8,000,000. I would also go back and kill everybody that said Coke couldn't contain coke as the main ingredient anymore.

Cennar, I was amazed that you didn't mention that you would buy tons of Dutch pot seeds and a big area of hidden land, and plant the super strong hybrid pot plants of the future.
