Re: Starcraft 2?
I participated in the beta, it has some fast gameply flaws like hard counters (not to mention the taboo of no LAN play), but i cant wait to see wat kind of 3rd person shooter maps are made from it
Re: Starcraft 2?
Just finished my 1v1 qualifiers, and my 2v2 with my friend. Scrubbed a bunch of kids, so I ended up getting platinum league for my 1v1 (which is bad, cause I'm not that good), and Bronze for my 2v2s.

I'm still working on the campaign and haven't tried the online yet. So you have to qualify when you play online? That's interesting... I've never come across that in a game before.ghosstt wrote:Just finished my 1v1 qualifiers, and my 2v2 with my friend. When you first play, there are 50 practice matches you can play, that have the game on slower speed, and dont count, just so you can get your bearings. Once you finish or skip those, you can start your 5 qualifiers, which just set you up for your skill level, so your not getting murked the whole time online.

That actually sounds pretty cool. Better than getting thrown to the wolves right off the bat as is the case with the MP in most games. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the info.ghosstt wrote:When you first play, there are 50 practice matches you can play, that have the game on slower speed, and dont count, just so you can get your bearings. To say ont hing though, blizzard has a nack at making map editors for their games- so when i do get it (and a faster computer) i cant wait to mess with the editor (and see wat other ppl do with it)
