I got Ghostbusters, Floatilla, Counter-Strike and Garry's mod for $25. So I'm happy!

Left 4 Dead 2 is dirt cheap, too. Get in there!

Up to and including July 4th ;)

There is plenty of time yet to get some great deals.

They have a different crop of deep (75% or more) discounts every day that changes at 1 PM Eastern Daylight Time (noon Eastern Valve Time), but the summer sale goes through July 4.

Ahhh Valve time.
Too bad I dont have a computer with a decent graphics card...or even any money :( . I would have picked up the Valve Complete Pack (22 awesome games for $66!)

I wish I could get some of these games. I was going to get Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands but some person from the UK managed to get 1350$ out of my mother's banking account. I live in Walter Sullivan's apartment, which clearly isn't in the UK.

I picked up TF2 the other day. Any reccomendations for noob servers? I'm not very good. :P Tips in general would be nice. It seems like everythings just happening so fast and at once, its hard to aim.

I second this. TF2 is an entirely different beast from BFBC2 and I have found that I am ill prepared to take on those who have been playing this game for years now.

I like these servers:

2Fort2Furious
tf2.2fort2furious.com
Lots of custom maps, big mix of people play on here, from newbie to pro. Be prepared to wait for custom maps to download if you don't already have them. There is also a massive collection of music you can queue up through the chat ("!p r/aero/elevator" for Love in an Elevator, for example).

PointClickWin TF2
tf2.pcwgaming.com
The group I'm currently in. We just started the server a couple weeks ago, so it's not going to be full 100% of the time. However we play a few rounds on Tuesday evenings (just because "TF2esday" has the perfect corny marketing sound to it) and occasionally times in between. You're fine as long as you're on Moe's team. No hackers, no poop egresses.

Voogru TF2 Dodgeball
208.43.4.58:27015
This one is interesting, since it's pretty much a custom game mode. Everyone plays Pyro with unlimited ammo, but you can't directly hurt each other. The maps all have rocket launchers on them, which fire homing rockets and bomb cart bombs that get randomly assigned to players. The object is to reflect rockets back and forth until the enemy team is eliminated. Last team standing wins. Useless for "real" TF2 practice, but it's a fun break from pushing the cart and capturing the intelligence. Here's a video of it in action.

Fug's 24/7 2Fort
72.9.144.105:27015
Yes it's a 32 player 2fort server, but it's good for playing casually because the people there generally don't take the game really seriously. (They're not hardcore have-to-win, but not borderline-griefing either.)

=SoB= Bedlam Asylum
68.232.166.225:27015
They're a little higher up the skill meter than most of the servers I've listed already, but in general they're a great group and their server has at least a few people on it most of the time.

2Fort2Furious 24/7 MARIO_KART All Crits Instant Respawn
67.18.19.4:27015
The most gimmicky server on this list. MARIO_KART has no objectives, it's all crits all the time, they don't allow Demoman, and people love to spawncamp as Soldier and Sniper. However, if you can tolerate the most gimmicky aspects of the server, the pubbers there make great target practice. You can raise hell here as Scout.

Don't forget about the new Offline Practice mode Valve added, which lets you play against bots on Dustbowl and a few KOTH maps. Of course bots can't take the place of actual human opponents, but they do put up a pretty good fight.

Coal Dust Clan
195.90.98.20:27028

I've been playing there a lot lately. UK server, but they are all cool guys (and surprising number of girls too)
