Okay. Sorry to disagree with you ben, but to say it looks worse than PS1, thats exaggerating.

(Also to say it looks like starfox for snes with textures, is also.)

For example:

007 Goldeneye on Wii (Note: The release date is November 2010. Its safe to say that this game isnt even finished yet):

007 The World is Not Enough for PS1:

As you can see, Goldeneye For the Wii, looks NOTHING like 007 for PS1. (I used 007 for ps1, as its still a 007 game. Easier to compare it to rather than a game with nothing in common.)

/insert whitty and sarcastic comment.

my 007 ps1 looked better than your pics....
007 racing however was SH1t

but im liking how nintendo is being genuine with their games, bringing out the stuff that we enjoyed 5 years ago yet making it still viable for those kids that cant stand anything below 640 x 480 res

Ben probably saw the 480 reso game stretched out over a HUGE ass screen. I bet it looked horrible.

Yay classic controllers! Is it compatible with the original classic controller as well?
The new Zelda looked ish. It looked like a fun game, but the graphics are all toonish, but not toonish like Windwaker, like a mix of Windwaker with TP. They're just weird.

Remember HDC, that a lot of developers/publishers shop their screenshots before releasing them to the press. I didn't think the trailer looked as good as those pics, but definitely looked better than PS1. I think the idea was to make it looks very similar to the N64 game though, right? and I'm sure one of the licensing issues they had, and why it took so long to come out, was because of Pierce Brosnan's face. They could avoid almost every licensing issue if they used new characters and new levels.

And while I'm excited for this and a whooole lot of the retro titles from Nintendo's press conference, remember that a boy and his blob was only semi-fun. Don't think they're all going to be amazing until they come out. ;)
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I'm pretty sure he was exaggerating. Regardless, the game looks horrible. I don't know if anyone could expect anything more from Activision though. It'll probably rack up their normal amount of sales, as with a new Tony Hawk game or something.

I'm pretty excited for this new Goldeneye. It doesn't look half bad for a Wii game graphically. And the Game is still like 4 and a half to 5 months away from being released? Still time to polish up the game real nice.

Though I think Activision missed out on the opportunity to announce a version of game for the 3DS too. I think a portable Goldeneye on the 3DS would kick butt!

Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality? :P

Even though it's not my kind of game, I think a Smash Brothers 3DS game would sell extremely well. Surprised they didn't do a handheld version yet.

I completely agree! Yeah, Goldeneye could have been a lil more eye candy-ish :/

But I'm sorry to say that for the very first time in my life, I'm NOT looking forward to the new zelda. I hate to say it but Link just looks.....well terrible. From his awkwad dynasty warriors stance, to his exaggerated sword movements, I'm just not feelin it with this one. Thank God I still have Twilight Princess to beat and can let the Zelda 3DS distract me from this disappointment.

To me, it looked like a graphically updated version of OoT, but Link was in a Mario game, with all the big mushrooms about. Looks pretty interesting to me. I'll still be getting it launch day no matter what, because I'm that big of a sucker :P

I'm hoping the self-healing mushrooms were just for demo purposes.

Most of the Wii games at E3 were on 35-40" monitors.

Zelda looked pretty crappy (graphics). Models didn't have a lot of polygons, and there were tons of jaggies.

Goldeneye was the same way. Looks worse in motion than in still frames. Jaggies up the ying-yang. Also, it's just a game with the name "Goldeneye" slapped on, so who cares?

I know I rip on the Wii a lot, but for crying out loud, an entire booth with games that look a decade old, it's nuts. 3DS, on the other hand, is impressive tech that works.
