Nice! Larger fan (means quiet, usually) and massive heat sink. Looks like they still have an Xclamp though.

I believe that that slider there is for "scaling back" the 3D, like, not making it completely jump into your soul. Or turning it completely off if you're a loser or get nauseous easily. I don't think it's to change the affected area of 3Dishness.You can adjust where the "sweet spot" is.
(taken from http://e3.nintendo.com/3ds/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)Other Input Controls:
3D Depth Slider to adjust level of 3D effect (can be scaled back or turned off completely depending on the preference of the user), Home button to call system function, Wireless switch to turn off wireless communications (even during game play), Power button. The telescoping stylus is approximately 4 inches when fully extended.
Yeah, that's what Iwata made it out to be. More of a way to turn down the amount of depth or something. Brings back memories of that knob thing on the Virtual Boy that changed the pan and angle of the mirrors. Fun times.smitty wrote: I believe that that slider there is for "scaling back" the 3D, like, not making it completely jump into your soul. I've got two. Working on one of them. The solder joints on the laser assemblies go bad and break after a lot of uninterrupted use and one of the two assemblies went bad and I'm trying to fix it. If I get it working, I'll let you know and maybe we can work something out.smitty wrote:I wish I had a Virtual Boy, they look pretty cool.
I have one without the rubber around the eyes. If you happen to have/come across that piece, can you shoot me a PM?Mikeyman64 wrote:I've got two. Working on one of them.
