I need help!!! I have an amazing idea for an console game!!!

I would like to find a company or someone interested in helping me make an x box game I have one game that won't be very difficult to make compared to my other one which will take a lot of work. The later one is game changing and the first one is incredible. I just don't know where to start or how to get anything done. please can someone help?

get an education, go to a college that has stuff to do with game design etc. thats the only way you will probably get anywhere with your ideas

My local community college has an Xbox Game Development course. I would suggest starting with a similar course.

Or, you can propose your idea to a game company and see if they want to buy it.

Coding your own games is incredibly hard and time-consuming. Have you ever programmed before? Start with something simple, then work your way up to said "amazing idea."

And if you're looking for someone to code an Xbox game for you, I doubt you'll get much interest here. Marshall is the only one I know of on this site that is involved with ANY game programming at all, and that's for N64. (edit: Parker on the Atari 2600 too)

I'd make it a collectable card game.. then you only need to draw stuff and maybe use some scissors..

Well you're half right. I'm learning game programming, but I hate Microsoft and the Xbox so even if I was some expert at programming I wouldn't do it. So I think you're 2 thirds right, actually.

Technically I wrote a Pong variant in C++. It was so terribly inefficient, but it was my first C++ class and the professor didn't give us much instruction.

I wrote a racing game and a pong variant in BASIC on my Atari 800 computer about 25 years ago. I still write software (professionally), but I've never really gotten the time to do any of those "really cool game ideas."
