Your opinion is biased, I am assuming you are still in some kind of schooling. Try being tossed into taking care of an apartment, significant other, dog, bills, all after losing your job... High school was a breeze compared to "real life." If you dont want to go to class skip it, whats the worst that could happen? you have to make up an assignment. skip work... lose job, lose apartment, lose girlfriend, lose job, and the majority of your stuff. High school was so much better. thats my experience anyway.stereth wrote:August 9? Damn. I don't start until September 7.
And don't listen to Geebs. High school sucked. Every day I'm not in high school is another day of my life not wasted.

While I'm personally still in middle school(starting eighth grade eventually, and I plan on working every single bit I can to focus my classes on computers, writing, art, and choppin' up my crap and makin' it bigger/smaller/monkey powered!), I found my days of public school(now homeschooled or something. Hell, I wasn't paying attention.) to be the most torturous days of all time. Go at an ungodly hour(yes, 7 AM is ungodly to me.), get mocked, have crap thrown at you, have people calling you gay because you read manga to kill time during lunch(and no, it was not the respectful "Oh, you like only other guys sexually? Then that makes you gay.", it was the "You f***in' f***ot, stop reading that gay crap and play some sports and be a normal guy for a change, ya mo."), and THEN having to deal with classes where I can either outsmart or match the teacher when it comes to smarts ON A REGULAR BASIS, only to FINALLY be released and have to wait half an hour and avoid bullies until my mom FINALLY picked me up. Either that, or I had to sit in a bus for 45 minutes with no air conditioning, THEN walk at least a goddamn mile to get from the back of the trailor-park-with-no-actual-trailors to the front where my house is, only to FINALLY gain some sweet, sweet air conditioning, mountain dew, and computer time.
Wow, I really ranted.

yeah, I was lucky to have this really smart guy for one of my math classes in highschool. He was the only other guy in my area that I know of that could actually keep me on my feat mathimatically.
Ah..how I loved our binary and hexidecimal math competitions
Although it did take me awhile to translate ABCD to decimal without a calculator

Damn I was hoping I could be part of that group, but I suck at math. Well maybe going back to school will help me get better.
Incase anyone was wondering I never got past algebra.

Yep, we're a bunch of friggin' geniouses.
On a similar note, I finished the last set of SAT tests I took in half the time(a few hours every day for a week, I had them all done in about 3 days.), AND got pretty goddamn high scores. I know it was at least in the 90th percentile, but I forget exactly where.
