Well I just won a pioneer headshell with an ortofon cartridge and needle for $21.

I almost lost the auction too, becuase some butthole tried to outbid me with 12 seconds to go. Thank God I don't use dial up or I would still be looking around for an original headshell.

Check them out; they're good for NOS tubes.

Thanks!

that will really help me out in the long run, and also will help me finally repair that 1940's crosley radio/record player I found in the trash a few years ago.

Actually I tend to use my SONY PS-FL1 more then the Pioneer now. I like the fully auto system and tray loading aspect. I have a Dual 1249 but need parts to get it working again.

If you're going to do that. you'll probably also need to buy lots of caps.

There's tons of schematics available from Nostalgia Air, which I have found to be incredibly useful (they usually list all of the capacitors). Let me know if you need any help with that radio/record player.
