Moddable LCDs database

Post by kingIZZZY » Fri Sep 25, 2009 2:06 pm

Is there somewhere in this forum a list of recommended LCDs (maybe even of different sizes and aspect-ratios etc) to use for modding? Or is any LCD out there ok to mess with and they'll all end up skinny enough when stripped down to the core ?

I'm looking for a recommended 22" LCD for a portable desktop PC mod in the works.

Just use a 22" TFT monitor.

TFT is a kind of LCD. Probably every LCD monitor you can buy new is TFT, I wouldn't worry about it.
See what Ben has used in his laptops. Try to get one that has a 12v input, that'll make it easier to power using the PSU from your computer.
