hurray for Force FX Lightsabers!!!!!!!!!

Post by Gamelver » Sat Apr 30, 2005 7:41 pm

today me and my brother were walking in best buy and what did we happen to see? Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker lightsabers :D!!!!!!!! my bro ordered them a couple months ago, but since they only ship on May 19, we decided to buy these and cancel the other ones.....I just thought I'd say that these things are so friggin' cool :D!!!!!!! if you love Star Wars, definitely look into one ;).......well, I suppose I must be off.......gotta go duel Darth in another epic battle :P!!!!!!!
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

yeah, my brother and i had ones from the originals and we would have so many duels, but we would swing so hard the cheap plastic blades would break, but it was a great time. the darth maul one is really cool.

How sturdy are they? I've seen them for $115 and for $99. Thought about getting one to add to my sword collection.

well, considering me and my brother fought for about an hour with them and they're still ok, I'd say they're pretty sturdy ;)....

Now If someone made a Light Sabre controller for the PS2/GC/XBOX so you could swing it at your TV (without hitting it obviously) and the actions on Star Wars games took place of the swinging, that would create a truly virtual exprience of being in the films.

Hey, I saw a samurai-sword-ps2-controller on amazon a while ago. Just spray paint it black, silver, and red/green/blue and you have a 'light sabre' for ps2.

EDIT -- here

Why would the fun stop there? You have to lose both eyes before it ends.
