Macaroni and cheese tastes better. Ramen is more versatile though; Soup Style, or pour out the water and add flavoring. Also, there are more flavors, but they usually taste close to the same to me.

I'm going with ramen noodles. Pasta slathered with cheese is great but it gets old fast. "

So many ways to make Ramen... so few to make mac and cheese... I'm gonna go with Ramen :D

Here's a recipe I enjoy:

1 pack of Ramen
about a teaspoon of olive oil
some parmesean cheese

Cook the Ramen, then strain it. Add the Olive Oil, stir it into the noodles a bit, and add parmesean. mmmmm

Here's my favorite ramen recipe - good for breakfast!

2 Packs of Ramen
2 slices American Cheese
1 Egg

Cook the ramen, stir in cheese until mixed well. Scramble egg, add to ramen.

Ahhh - cheese!

Good point, diggerdanh. Ramen & Cheese. Half Japanese, half Swiss. All good...

Sometimes I wonder if the flavors of Ramen are really different, because they're mostly salt anyways. But I have to go with Ramen, because you boil water, then drop in the brick and wait three minutoes. What could be easier. It is also cheap. I calculated that if I was in college, I could eat for an entire month, three meals a day, having Ramen, rice, or saltine crackers for every meal, for far less than a dollar a day. Ramen is 10 cents a pack, rice is even cheaper, and when shopping at a food warehouse, you can get 12 sleeves of crackers for $3. Talk about low budget. I can see it now, Ramen falling from the sky into some third-world country... NO MORE WORLD HUNGER! WE NEED TO FEED THE HUNGREE PEEPLE!!!!!! GIVE THEM DRIED NOODLES AND SALT PACKETS!!!

Oh, but you'd have to drink your basic water, which is basically free. No beer, unless someone comes along, sees how poor you are, and gives you some. Or you could "borrow" from your parents, because that's what they're there for.

That's true if you are in college, but your proposal to feed the world like that may not work since they may not have water either.

How can you live somewhere without water? I sure can't. There must be drinkable water, or you probably need to move somewhere where there is water, so you don't die! You could kill two birds with one stone, boiling water to kill bacteria and contaminants, and you get a tasty meal at the same time! You CAN eat Ramen raw if you had no water, it just wouldn't taste as good. If you're truly starvin like Marvin though, that Ramen probably looks like solid gold.
I think I'll go boil some water... I'm hungry!

Yeah, dry ramen isn't too bad. It makes a good trail mix if your camping and don't want to build a fire too.
