Post your gaming collection!

Post by J.D » Fri Jul 17, 2009 11:21 pm

Post your video game collection here! I don't think there are any recent threads about this, so I'll make one. Also, if you have a thread with your gaming collection, post a link, instead of listing all the pictures again.

Entire handheld collection. I am missing some boxes for some of my DS games.

here's a text spreadsheet of my stuff
http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/col ... Collection" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

About half of my stuff is in bins so here's a bit of it now, I might post the rest if I ever feel like it.

Boxed NES and loose carts. Not pictured: Stack of Tengen games and Big Nose the Caveman.
Image

Sega CD and Saturn games. I keep the games in the spindles
since those crappy jewel cases snap if you look at them wrong.
I have a couple disc only games in there as well.
Image

32x! I'm trying to get all of the US releases, almost there at 26 games out of the 36.
Image

Great example of just because a game is rare & expensive doesn't make it good.
Horrible game, not anywhere worth it's price tag unless you are a completest.
Image

Boxed Genesis games, mostly up to date.
I think I got 5 or 6 more games since the photo was taken.
Image

Loose Genny games. Not a bad ratio of boxed to loose.
Image

XBox 360, TG-16, Jag/Jag CD games.
Image

Dreamcast games.
Image

Boxed TI-99 4-a! My parents had one of these before I was born,
TI-Invaders was the first video game I had ever played so you know
I had to grab it when I found the boxed system at Goodwill.
Image

PS1 games which I apparently have a lot of (more than I thought for sure)
Image

Tallboy Ps1 games, cool cases.
It's a neat niche collection if you want to
focus on a certain area to collect.
Image

DS games, w/e lol
Image

Gamecube games.
Image

If you ever wondered what ~50 gba boxes and instructions
look like folded up in a box, there you go
Image

Stuff not pictured:
SNES
N64
Atari Stuff (both 2600 and 7800), TI-99 carts and whatnot
3DO (I have a good amount of the really cool tall boxes but no where to put them so they are all in a tub. These I will definitely take out and snap pictures of)
Master System (I'm not really a fan of the SMS [sorry Europe/Aussies] so I don't think I'll take a pic of these. Just imagine a shelf with 20 boring white checkerboard boxes lol)
System photos (w/boxes heaps of controllers)
Handheld photos (I have these on my computer somewhere, Gameboys, Game Gear, Lynx, Turbo Express, Nomad, Wonderswan Color, etc)

For someone with a large Saturn collection like you, you have no "Panzer Dragoon" games? Shame on you.

I own every unlicensed nes game, except for a few porno and ones I cant find, id update it but im 4 hours away from my collection for 2 more months.
I also own a NES Test Station, very intense ebay bidding on this during christmas, I won because I made a typo in how much I wanted to pay, and won on the money I set aside for it, lucky right?
http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27021" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Older stuff:
http://www.videogamecollectors.com/gall ... emId=34145" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Edit: found an updated pic of my arcade machine that includes the cabinet/shelf thingy that I have Intellivision and a small portion of Sega Genesis stuff in:
Image

For some reason, perhaps because I'm expecting to move out soon, I decided to clean up one of the few spots that I can just close a lid on and not see anymore, in a very, very dis-organized room. Though, the fact that I've been having trouble closing it whenever I went to look in it may have contributed to my desire.

Anyways, the result (inside the cabinet with the Tux and Zaxxon stickers in the above link):
No controllers/PSes(full view of games inside):
Image
After adding controllers and power supplies:
Image

I recently got into collecting Sega Naomi (an arcade version supped up Dreamcast)
Current project, see if I can get this working (sold as non-working as a whole on eBay):
Image
Found out it came with a game:
Image
It is a never made it to Dreamcast lightgun game, a pleasant surprise (as it wasn't listed as having one in it). I'm trying to see if I can get the lightguns for it from the seller.
Earlier attempt at putting one together, and a pool of parts to help fix the above:
Image

Besides "The Maze of the Kings", I have the following for it so far:
Virtua Tennis (cartridge)
Sega Marine Fishing (cart, came with the first motherboard)
Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Fight 2000 Pro (GD-ROM)

I had to put my collection into storage temporarily, so for insurance purposes (yes, it is insured under my homeowners policy) I inventoried it. I did not touch the controller bins so much of that is speculation. I keep a record of everything incase of fire/theft/attack robots. Periodically, I update it for recent purchases and internet pissing contests. :P

In my new place, I requesitioned a room for my collection. Man is it 1/4 full. My friends who helped move were all, "whats in this one? let me guess..."

None of this if for sale, and I am always looking for things not on that list.

I have a problem....
