In Nevada, you can get your learner's permit at 15 1/2. You need to complete at least 50 hours of supervised driving (basically, driving with someone 21 years or older in the passenger seat, though I'm not sure how long they need to have their license for) and at least 10 of those hours must be done at night. I think you take one final test after that, and you can get your license at 16. For the first six months after getting your license, you can't drive anyone but immediate family anywhere, and you can't be out driving later than 10:00 PM until you're 18, unless you have a valid, verifiable reason for doing so.

On the topic of licenses, do you guys' states/provinces/whatever have special license designs for people under 18? We do.

Up here our licenses just have G1 (Level 1 Graduated), G2 (Level 2 Graduated), or G (Full) under "Class"

G being the general class, pretty much cars and light commercial stuff. There's tons of classes. Motorcycle class, buses, trucks, etc.

Yeah, we have special portrait-oriented n00b licenses here in MA. You get it from 16 1/2 to 21. I'm actually stuck with one until I'm 25 because I had to renew it before my 21st birthday, which fell on a Sunday (the RMV is closed on Sundays). Good thing I never get carded or I'd have some 'splainin to do.

What's an RMV?

Google'd it while I was typing this post.. It's the Mass. Registry of Motor Vehicles. Why don't you guys just have a DMV like the rest of us?

lol I don't have a new car and may never buy one, all these were bought with cash. Save your money and screw the payments.

Good lookin Explorer. May consider some Mustang wheels to put on there as long as its not 4wd.

Check out this Ranger.

Nice looking Ranger, what wheels that got on it. Never considered Mustang wheels, wanting bigger tires though, if I do get bigger tires(30x10.50x15), I'm sticking with stock rims

You could go with some 17x9 FR500 wheels with 30x10.00x17 and still be able to tuck under the fenders.

here is a 17x9 fr500 rim with a black center. Can usually pick up a set of mustang rims for around 400.00-600.00$. The ones on the Ranger are Mustang Bullits(17x9 front and 17x10.5 on the back).
