John and Kate are divorcing

This was just announced on the show. They are divorcing each other. What a way to end a 10 year marriage

One or both of them waited till June 22 (today) to file a petition of divorce so that media wouldn't have a field day.

John and Kate as we know it is over.

It's a TV show that apparently people give a damn about. I don't care.

Apparently they live not too far north from me.

As further clarification, it's a show about a couple with something like 8 kids, 2 at once the first time and then 6 all at once the next time, so 8 kids almost all the same age. It was a funny show to watch to see the mom go slowly insane.

Other than the fact that I'm not exactly surprised about the dad's unfaithfulness (though I am surprised he found the time,) I can't say that I care for celebrity news either.

Fixed. Not meaning to be benol or anything, but that's one of my biggest pet peeves.

As for me, I couldn't care less either. I have never seen this show, and frankly, I don't watch any TV these days (doesn't help that with the DTV switch, we now only get ABC

).

What do you mean "so the media would not have a field day"? This was in all the big celebrity gossip magazines like two weeks ago, the mom announced it then.

Those kids are the offspring of a celebrity situation...even if the parent's didn't divorce they'd still probably need tharapy
