Take a motor from a Pager or cell phone and attach it on the top with some batteries.
Just wire the batteries to the motor to make the bristles move correct?

Nice. This will make a very fun afternoon project
Yep

9 volt or AAA or AAA?
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

None of the above - you want a watch battery or something similar. The rest are too big and would weigh it down/cause it to become unbalanced/other undesirable things.

Also, from what I've heard, you'd do well to start with a new toothbrush with angled bristles. I imagine one that's been used would have worn, frayed bristles and wouldn't work nearly as well.

I tried one with an old toothbrush once, thought it worked fine. It wasn't until I used a new toothbrush that I realized the difference, which was monumental. Use a new one.

you can't build much with hot-glue alone. You can do projects with a soldering iron, a dremel, and some funds.

What to do with $37
open up an account and have an agent move that money around from long term investments, through to short term deposit accounts trying to get you a maximum return for your savings then move it through various upcoming companies and its gone...

Hate to bring up an older post, but I just have to say a girl in our IT class forgot she was holding a soldering iron while she scratched her face. It didn't turn out pretty :)

Reminds me of the time when I got side tracked while soldering. I was looking for my screwdriver and saw the tip of the soldering iron. Now keep in mind I was quite tired. I reached for the iron tip, thinking it was the screwdriver and burnt my whole hand.

I did something similar once, except with a low-temp glue gun, so it didn't hurt...

...much.

I was super tired once, and mistook my soldering iron for my dremel (mind you, I was VERY tired). It was NOT pretty... It also didn't smell pretty (If you haven't smelt burnt flesh, it's bad). I just ran it under water, bandaged it up, and by morning It was even more painful
