Interestingly enough, that was the first time I ever soldiered. I was 8 or 9, and I replaced the dead battery in one of my GBO games.

Solder, soldered, not soldier, soldiered.

Back in the day:
I'm in the middle of making a p64, and decided I should share a few of my ideas.
First of all, I decided to use a 50 pin ribbon cable to move the cart. loader so I could load games from the top like a GBA, instead of the normal bottom loader that most people seem to do.
Also, I was planing on using a GC controller case, moddified of course, to mount the 64 controller in. Right now all I'm doing is testing every thing out, untill I save up some money for an lcd.
:P

And for those that don't know of it: Archive of the old forums

It kind of has both, you've made so many, but they all look noobish, lol. There's almost no improvement.

Surprisingly, my earliest posts aren't too n00bish! My first few posts were all just commentary on other's portables, but then my, "First Portable" threads started.... The only thing that I laugh at now is my permanent attachment to my Pickachu N64  (I still wont rip it apart though...) I just wish I would make a portable already! But I have no moniez!
